Ganeshotsav - Preparation of worship

Ganeshotsav - This festival is celebrated in india in the middle of augast regularly but its mainly depended on hindu calender. This year it is late.

Preparation of worship.
We worship ganesha [god of knowledge and art] for 10 days in India in these days. We establish ganesha idol made of soil and request the ultimate soul [Paramatma] to enter in it. In offerings we offer as per everyone's capacity and method.
I took this photo in a maharashtrian family before they start the pooja [ worship ].
